How Taitam-D looks after your information

Who we are

Taitam-D Platform is run by TAITAM-D MANAGEMENT LTD, company number 11141046, registered in England and Wales at 72 Caledonian Road, London, England, N1 9DN. In Thailand the service is run by Taitam-D Management (Thailand) Co., Ltd.. Taitam-D is responsible for the information you share with the Taitam-D team. For live demos, Gumon Technology is responsible, as explained below.

When you visit this site

This site is open to everyone. There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and carries no trackers or adverts, so nothing on the pages themselves follows you around. Like any website, the servers that host it keep a standard technical log so the site runs well and stays secure: the time, the page requested, whether it loaded, your IP address and the type of browser you use. We use this log only to keep the site working and protected, never to build a picture of who you are, and it is kept for a short time only. The partner finder works out distances inside your own browser, so the postcode or area you type stays on your device. Fonts, images and area data all come from our own server; nothing loads from anyone else.

When you message us on WhatsApp

Your details reach us only when you tap a button to chat with us on WhatsApp. The message is written for you with a short code that tells us which page you came from, and you can change or delete anything before you send it. We have two WhatsApp lines, each looked after by a different company:

• Taitam-D's own line, for questions, bookings, applications and calls with our team. Taitam-D is responsible for your details. Gumon Technology, our technology partner, runs the system for us and helps our team follow up with you, working on Taitam-D's behalf.
• The live demo line. When you start a live demo you chat on Gumon Technology's own line, and Gumon Technology is responsible for your details.

What we collect, and why

• When you message us: your name, contact details, what you asked for and where you are, so we can answer and, if you ask, introduce you to a partner near you.
• When you apply to join: your business details, licence and insurance documents, and the qualifications of your team, so we can list you and keep the standards every partner shares.
• When you enrol on a course: your details, progress, assessment evidence and certificate, so we can teach you, assess you and issue a certificate others can verify.

Who we share it with

When you ask us to recommend a salon or academy, we send your name, contact details and request to that partner so they can call you back. Partners are independent businesses in the United Kingdom and Thailand and look after your details under their own notice from then on. We tell you which partner, before we share anything.

• Partner salons and academies in the Taitam-D network, when you ask for an introduction
• Gumon Technology, our technology partner, who runs Taitam-D Academy, the assistant and the live demo line, and who looks after your details as described above
• Payment providers you choose to pay through, under their own terms
• Awarding bodies, for learners registered on a regulated qualification

Links to other sites

Some buttons take you somewhere else: WhatsApp to chat with us, OpenStreetMap to see a partner on a map, and our other Taitam-D websites. Nothing from those sites loads on our pages until you tap, and once you are there, their own privacy policy applies. WhatsApp is provided by Meta, so messages you send us there are also covered by WhatsApp's privacy policy.

Between the UK and Thailand

Information moves between our UK and Thai companies and partners under standard contract clauses recognised in both countries, so it is protected the same way wherever it is.

Our AI assistant

The first replies in our chat come from an AI assistant, and it says so. It keeps the conversation so a person can pick it up when you ask, or when it needs to hand over. You can ask for a person at any time.

Marketing

We send news and offers only if you have said yes to them, separately from anything else you asked us for. Every message tells you how to stop.

How long we keep it

Enquiries for as long as it takes to answer them and a reasonable time after. Partner and learner records for the length of the relationship and the period the law and awarding bodies require. Our server's technical log, which holds nothing that identifies you, is kept only for a short time to keep the site running well and securely.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or object to how we use it. Write to info@taitam-d.com and we reply within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK or the Personal Data Protection Committee in Thailand.
